The remaining amount (70%) will be paid in cash or by card on the date of receipt of the vehicle by the lessee/delivery of the vehicle by the company. The reservations made concern a car category that includes various models that have the same characteristics (e.g. displacement, fuel, luggage space, etc.). In the event that on the date of receipt of the vehicle by the lessee, there is no vehicle available from the specific vehicle category for which the reservation has been made, the company may rent another vehicle of a higher category (vehicle category upgrade) at no additional charge.
1) If the vehicle is driven on any unauthorized road, unpaved road, dirt road or off-road (e.g. Balos), intentionally or unintentionally (e.g. in case the driver goes off the road without reason). In case of violation of this condition the customer is responsible for the repair of any damage caused to the underside of the vehicle, its wheels and tires, and further the cost of replacing any filters and special cleaning required. 2) If the renter violates the traffic rules (e.g. road signs / STOP sign, speed limits, road direction, U-turns, illegal overtaking with double lane violation). 3) If the renter goes off the road due to lack of attention. 4) If the renter violates the parking rules. 5) If the vehicle is driven to a beach and damages are caused by sand and/or sea water. 6) If the vehicle is driven in any speed race, rally or competition or the vehicle is used for reward purposes (taxi or courier service). 7) The vehicle is driven by any person who has been disqualified from driving or has never held a driving license appropriate for that vehicle or is not a registered driver on the rental agreement. 8) If the driver of the vehicle is under the influence of alcohol or any addictive substance affecting his ability to drive the vehicle. 9) If the vehicle is damaged intentionally or unintentionally due to the renter's negligence (e.g. damage to the bodywork or doors from strong winds, clutch failure, dents in the hood / trunk / roof of the vehicle, damage to the interior of the vehicle, damage from pets). 10) If the vehicle is driven after the end of the agreed rental period as stated in the contract (or its previously agreed extension). 11) If the vehicle is used for any purpose contrary to Greek Laws.
All insurance coverages and waivers are valid provided that the renter has complied with all terms and conditions. The renter is obliged to inspect the vehicle and report any damage to our office as soon as possible without moving the car to provide all information and photos necessary to submit a full description of the incident.
Driver Age
Minimum age limit for drivers for all categories is 23 years. Furthermore, only the person named as the driver in the rental contract is allowed to drive the car.
Driving Licence
Driver is required to possess and display a valid Driving License that has been issued at least one year, prior to the rental date. The driving license must be Greek, European (for EU countries) or International (for non-EU countries)
Payment Method
On the date of making the reservation on our website, an amount corresponding to 30% of the total price that will result (based on the total rental days and the vehicle category you choose) must be paid in advance.
Warranty
In order to rent a vehicle from our company, a deposit of 500 euros (500€) will be required as a guarantee on the driver's credit/debit card upon receipt of the vehicle. The amount will be released upon return of the vehicle.
Vehicle Delivery
Our company provides the option of delivering or picking up the vehicle at the location chosen by the renter (table below). The respective charge on the total rental amount will be based on the distance in kilometers from our headquarters, as shown below:

Cancellation
If the reservation is canceled up to 10 days before the rental start date, the amount paid will be refunded and corresponds to 30% of the advance payment given on the total amount on the date the online reservation was made. Otherwise, the advance payment amount paid is not refunded.
Fuel Policy
On the day of return of the car, the renter must return it with the same level of gasoline that was in the tank on the day it was delivered to him. In the event that due to an error the tank is filled with the wrong fuel instead of the correct one (e.g. filling up with diesel) the renter will be responsible for the cost of repairing any damage caused.
Key Loss
All keys in our fleet are coded and chipped. In case of loss or damage of the vehicle keys, the renter will bear the cost of replacing them, while in case the keys are locked inside the vehicle, the renter will bear the cost of retrieving them (for example, if a vehicle mechanic is required).
Fines & Violations
The lessee is responsible for violations of the Traffic Code and is obliged to pay the cost of any violations/fines imposed, which occurred during the lease, even if the above amounts are required after the end of the lease.
Optional Services & Extra Equipment
Child seats: Available only upon reservation and at a charge of €2 per day.
Transfer Limitations/Ferry Transportation
It is prohibited to transport the rented vehicle outside of Crete by ship/ferry. Otherwise, the renter is responsible for all damage caused to the rented vehicle during its transport for any reason, regardless of any coverages and limitations of liability accepted and paid at the beginning of the rental.
Vehicle Ownership
The vehicle belongs to the company, and the lessee has no other right than possession and use of the vehicle and cannot sublease, transfer or sell it.
Vehicle Usage Restrictions
1) For the carriage of cargo for remuneration.
2) For the carriage of passengers for remuneration (e.g. as a taxi or under a carpooling arrangement).
3) For the carriage of any object that may damage the vehicle (including explosive or flammable materials) or delay the company's ability to re-rent the vehicle due to its general condition or odor.
4) When overloaded with passengers and/or luggage.
5) For the towing or pushing of any other vehicle, trailer or other object without the express consent of the company.
6) Off-road or on roads unsuitable for the vehicle, including racetracks.
7) For participation in any race or competition.
8) In restricted areas, including airport service roads and related areas.
9) In violation of any traffic or other regulation.
10) For any unlawful purpose.
Insurance
All drivers of cars that have signed a valid rental contract with our company are insured with third party liability for death, bodily injury and property damage. Both coverages are subject to the general terms of our company's contract with our cooperating insurance company.
Damage Waiver
Provided that the Traffic Code is not violated (and with the exceptions mentioned below for the exclusion from insurance coverage), the renter's liability may be limited for any damage caused to the rented vehicle up to the amount of €250 for vehicle categories A, B and C and up to the amount of €400 for vehicle categories D, E, F and G.
Reckless Driving/Insurance Coverage Exceptions
The insurance coverage is not valid and our company has the right to request compensation from the renter equal to the cost of repairing the damage if it is caused to the car in the following cases:
Accident
In the event of an accident, the renter must contact our company immediately. If the accident involves another vehicle and/or there is injury or material damage to a third party, the renter must immediately notify the Police. The renter is not allowed to leave the scene of the incident without reporting the accident. If the renter does not inform our company in a timely manner, then he is obliged to pay the repair costs of any damage caused to the rental vehicle.
